Note:- For naming words that end in ‘-o’, ‘-s’, ‘-x’, ‘-ch’, ‘-sh’, ‘-ss’, we usually add ‘-es’ to change them into many.

We change ‘-y’ into ‘-ies’ to make more than one of the word had a consonant before ‘-y’. For eg, baby (consonant before y)

We add ‘-s’ to the words that end in ‘-y’ and have a vowel before it. For eg, key (vowel before y)
